Clinical supervision for social workers and helping professionals

I offer clinical supervision for social workers and other helping professionals working in mental health and related fields.

Supervision provides a reflective space for case discussion, ethical decision-making, skill development, and support in managing the emotional and practical demands of the work.

I have a particular interest in supporting clinicians who want to deepen their understanding of ADHD, autism, and neurodiversity-affirming practice, especially when working with clients whose experiences may have been overlooked, misunderstood, or shaped by masking, chronic overwhelm, anxiety, or perfectionism.

Who supervision is for

Supervision may be helpful if you are:

  • a newly graduated Social Worker wanting to build confidence and clinical skills
  • a Social Worker new to private practice
  • a Social Worker at any stage of experience seeking reflection and support
  • a clinician from another discipline wanting supervision around mental health or practice issues
  • wanting to deepen your understanding of ADHD, autism, and neurodiversity-affirming ways of working
  • working with complexity, risk, trauma, chronic distress, or complex consultations
  • navigating workplace challenges, professional dilemmas, or broader practice-related matters
  • wanting support with your Accredited Mental Health Social Worker application
  • looking for supervision that is reflective, grounded, and genuinely supportive

What supervision can support

 Supervision may include:

  • case reflection and formulation
  • risk assessment and clinical decision-making
  • navigating complexity and uncertainty in the work
  • strengthening clinical thinking and therapeutic skills
  • ethical and professional considerations
  • managing boundaries, responsibility, and emotional load
  • building confidence, professional identity, and sustainable practice

My approach to supervision

My approach to supervision is reflective, collaborative, and grounded in real-world practice.

I aim to offer a space where you can think clearly about your work, deepen your clinical understanding, and feel supported in managing the emotional and professional demands of practice.

Supervision is not only about accountability and skill development. It is also about having space to pause, reflect, and find ways of working that are sustainable over time.
